External GC’s life science clients range in size and stage from those conducting research at the discovery-stage to those focused on clinical trials and those focused on the commercialization of marketed products. External GC performs day-to-day legal work for life science companies and can help clients manage the legal services provided by traditional outside law firms.

Our clients in the life sciences industry appreciate receiving senior business lawyer advice from an attorney who combines substantial in-house experience gained as the General Counsel of public life sciences companies and transactional experience as a corporate lawyer at large AM Law 100 law firms.

Our clients also appreciate paying a fraction of the cost of either hiring a full-time general counsel or relying exclusively on traditional outside law firms. Given our lower cost structure, our rates for can be less than half the cost of rates at traditional outside law firms.
